Reptiles, Amphibians, and Invertebrates

This revised edition of an earlier release is, as the subtitle tells us, a guide to the identification and care of more than 250 reptile, amphibian and invertebrate species.
The information in this guide is varied, from what to attend to when buying an animal to how to care for and feed specific species and subspecies. Profiles for each species provide information on natural habitat, sizes in various life stages, life expectancy and general behavioural characteristics. Naturally, this volume is full of illustrations. Hundreds of colour photos offer a good look at snakes, skinks, lizards, geckos, turtles and tortoises, frogs and toads, salamanders, tarantulas, scorpions, millipedes, stick insects, cockroaches and even the praying mantis.

The profiles also include references, so that true fans can go in search of even more information.
