The most poisonous animal on earth is a tiny yellow-black frog, named kokoi. The animal is two or three centimetres and weighs one gram. It belongs to the Dendrobatidae family, which consist of 170 poisonous species.
Almost all of these frogs are brightly coloured. These colours serve as a warning signal. The skin of the kokoi gives off batrachotoxin. 0,0001 gram of this substance is already lethal to humans.

The kokoi inhabits the Colombian rainforest. The Indians that live in the rainforest are familiar with the deadliness of the frogs poison. The frogs are roasted over a fire. After this, their poison is collected. The Indians dip their arrowheads in the poison and go hunting. One kokoi contains enough poison for fifty arrowheads.
